      • Offers emergency and extended stay shelter options for victims of domestic violence, their children and their pets. The emergency shelter houses victims for up to 30 days, while the extended stay shelter houses victims for up to 90 days, connecting clients with critical social supports to help get them on their path to healing and independence.

      • Denver’s Temporary Rental and Utility Assistance (TRUA) Program anticipates reopening for new applications at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21 and closing at 9:59 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22. Monthly opening of the application portal is subject to change depending on availability of funds. Please continue to check this webpage for updates.

      • If you are currently in a lease and unable to pay next month's rent, we have rental assistance available on the 15th of every month that will assist with the upcoming month's rent from 9:30AM-11:30AM (if you apply on the 15th of current month, this assistance covers following month) . If the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday, the application will open on the following business day from 9:30AM-11:30AM. There are no guarantees, assistance Soley depends on the amount of funding available for the month. We can help an average of 2-3 families a month. Please apply to as many places as possible for assistance.

SHELTER AND tRANSITIONAL SERVICES

    • Urban Peak: Walk-up access only: Urban Peak The Mothership, 1630 S. Acoma, (303) 974-2928, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.* Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.* Saturdays and Sundays. *Closed on Wednesdays from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m., on all other weekdays from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m., and on weekends from 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.

    • The Delores Project: Those looking for shelter should call us at 10am daily at 303-534-5411 to inquire about bed availability and complete a brief phone screen.

      • We do not accept any walk-ups. Beds are only assigned by phone at 10am each day.

      • We do not take referrals from case managers or other community providers.

      • We do not serve cisgender men, families with children, or anyone under the age of 18.

      • We are not a safehouse or domestic violence shelter and cannot serve individuals who are fleeing a dangerous or violent situation.

      We are not able to hold or reserve beds for future days. Potential guests should call only if they are prepared to arrive that day.

    • Samaritan House:

      • Hours of operation: 365 days a year from 4 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

      • Capacity: 40 dorm-style beds + two nutritious meals (dinner and breakfast) and bathroom services (no showers).

      • Eligibility: Women 18 years and older.

      • Participants can reserve a bed each morning with staff.

      • Participants with bed reservation will be checked in first starting at 3:30pm.

      • All other beds can be accessed on a first come first serve basis for those are eligible. Participant must check in by 5 pm to maintain bed reservation.

    • Denver Rescue Mission:
